This fellowship is run by ESA, the Shoulder Section of ESSKA was established in memory of Prof. Philippe Hardy - a colleague, friend, who will always be remembered as a reference in shoulder surgery and academic activity in the orthopaedics’ world.
The purpose of this fellowship is to contribute to the development of skills of young orthopaedic surgeons who are already into shoulder surgery, namely arthroscopy and arthroplasty.
The selected Fellows will visit five-six Teaching Centres over a three week period and complete their fellowship at an ESSKA/ESA Meeting. The fellowship covers various aspects of sports, trauma and degenerative lesions of the shoulder such as arthritis, instabilities, rotator cuff and acromio-clavicular lesions.
There are three positions available.
The fellowship programme will cover travel, accommodation, meals and minor expenses.
