Description
The publication of articles as authors by the current MEB in their own journal is a present phenomenon in the highest impact factor journals on orthopedics and involves a relevant part of these authors' scientific production. Knowing the prevalence of this phenomenon can help promote transparency and control, thus avoiding conflicts of interest.
