The literature reporting altered lateral femoral condyle morphology as a risk for ACL injury in female patients is rare and conflicting. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the lateral femoral condyle ratio among osseous morphologic characteristics of the knee and ACL injury in female patients.
