Description
The aim of this study was to evaluate mid-term implant survivorship and patient-reported outcome measures following a ligament-guided, robot-assisted medial unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA). As currently, there is a lack of literature evaluating outcomes of this novel ligament-guided technique in medial UKA. This study could provide insights into the further application of the ligament-guided technique in daily practice. This study demonstrated that the ligament-guided medial UKA is equally beneficial for all knee phenotypes and sagittal medial tibial wear patterns as long as preoperative knee phenotype is preserved postoperatively.
