Outcomes after arthroscopic large bucket-handle meniscal tear repair

Description

The purpose of this retrospective, comparative, single-surgeon clinical study was to evaluate outcomes after arthroscopic repair of large posterior horn (PH) with pars intermedia (PI) BHMTs as an alternative to meniscectomy. The primary hypothesis posited that arthroscopic repair would achieve good clinical outcomes at an acceptable failure rate. Furthermore, the influence of concurrently performed ACLR was assessed, hypothesising that concurrent ACLR would improve clinical outcomes after BHMT repair.
