Patellar Dislocation and Trochlear Dysplasia impact quality of life

Description

This study examines how patellar dislocation and trochlear dysplasia affect various patient-reported outcome measurements, including the Banff 2.0, Kujala score, Marx activity score, and EQ-5D-5L. The findings suggest that patients who have experienced patellar dislocation without prior knee surgery, regardless of whether they also have trochlear dysplasia, tend to have markedly lower scores in Banff 2.0, Kujala score, and EQ-5D-5L index and VAS score. Additionally, all dimensions of the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire are impacted except for the anxiety/depression dimension.
