Description
Patellofemoral pain (PFP) is a prevalent musculoskeletal disorder that leads to anterior knee pain, especially in young adult women. It is known to be characterized by increased pain following flexion-related activities such as squatting, stair climbing, and prolonged sitting, which increase patellofemoral compressive forces. Nevertheless, some PFP patients do not present clinical symptoms.
The aim of the study is to compare balance and functional performance in women with symptomatic and non-symptomatic PFP.
