NFL Fantasy Football to Evaluate Return to Play Performance

Description

This investigation is the largest study evaluating the use of NFL fantasy points to track performance across various musculoskeletal injuries in professional athletes. Despite no linear association between games missed due to injury and difference in fantasy points per game, use of fantasy tools may prove a helpful metric to track both individual player performance following injury and performance by position post-injury for time-loss injuries.
