Physiotherapy Impact on Rowers: Hamstring & Back Pain

Description

Rowing imposes high stress on the lumbar vertebrae, which is a primary contributor to low back pain ( in athletes It is believed that increasing pelvic rolling over the lumbar vertebrae and minimizing their displacement can aid in preventing LBP by reducing stress on the lumbar vertebrae.

This study aims to investigate and compare the effects of hamstring extender exercise ( ballistic stretching ( and kinesiotaping ( on the viscoelastic properties of the hamstring muscle in elite adolescent rowing athletes.
