The aim of the present study is to investigate the presence of recycling labels in orthopedic prostheses packaging and in all other consumables used during surgery. Packages of orthopedic prostheses and consumables such as antiseptics, gowns, gloves, sutures, and cement were investigated. The following recycling labels were searched: the Mobius Loop, the Green Dot, the Plastic recycling symbols and the FSC label.
