Description
The "All-inside" technique allows Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction with the creation of incomplete bone sockets and the use of an autologous hamstring tendon plasty folded on itself and shorter than the complete tibial tunnel technique. This plasty can be composed of both tendons or semitendinosus tendon only. There are scarce reports regarding the results and survival rate of this type of ACL reconstruction after more than 5 years of follow-up, as well as the comparison between the use of one or both hamstrings. We performed a survivorship analysis (Kaplan-Meier curve) of our experience with All-Inside ACL reconstruction using Semitendinosus and Gracilis (DG-ST) versus only quadruple semitendinosus (ST4).
